Who: Local food bloggers and any interested foodies!

Where: Dawson Park for a potluck (Environment Canada better not let me down! It lists the chance of showers at 40%). Please bring utensils, a plate, and a drink with you! I thought about bringing some for the group, but we can be more environmentally-friendly this way because acedemic essays and independent custom research papers show that disposable, plastic utensils and paper plates are very detrimental to our environment and can take decades to decompose under natural conditions. :)

I'm good for whenever. I think an outdoor pot luck would be a grand idea, if we can manage some nice weather that is. If not, I always find bigger groups have success at Asian restaurants...so that might be an option. Chris.

I was thinking that (as long as we're looking at a strictly over-18 crowd) maybe a lounge-type place would be a good option, especially as a bad-weather backup. There's less to worry about with reservations, and we might have less trouble moving around a table for chatting. There are quite a few places that would serve food (I like suede's cocktails, and I've heard their food is good, for example).

Sure you can bring your husband and child (assuming it's not at Suede!). I'm in favour of just bringing whatever you want (I don't want to limit anyone's creativity, particularly in this culinary group!), as it usually ends up working out anyway. But I'm open to other opinions!

There's a sheltered area with bathrooms, and tables underneath. I can't remember how close it is to the parking lot, but hopefully it is not too far...See you all there!
